Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)

In accordance with state law, the Village of Paw Paw processes all Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. Believing in fairness, transparency, and democracy we believe that all persons – except those who are serving a sentence of imprisonment – are entitled to full and complete information regarding the affairs of their government and those who represent them. We aim to balance the public’s interest in disclosure with the requirement to withhold or redact portions of certain records.
