Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Requests

FOIA requests can be made in writing by submitting a completed FOIA request form via email to the Clerk; by regular mail to P.O. Box 179, Paw Paw, MI 49079; or by fax. Upon receipt of the request, the Clerk will evaluate the application and begin the review process. There may be a fee associated with your request. You can view the costs on the FOIA cost sheet. All FOIA applications are to be completed in five business days starting the day after the Clerk receives the request. A ten-day extension may be required if it takes more time to process. In the event your FOIA request is denied or denied in part, you will receive a written explanation for the denial.
