Part-time Police Officer Position
The Paw Paw Police Department is looking to hire three part-time police officers. The position requires a high school graduation, Associate Degree and M.C.O.L.E.S. certified. Be able to pass a thorough background investigation. Police experience only preferred.
Duties – perform general duty police work in the protection of life and property and maintain law and order within the Village of Paw Paw. Other duties include crime prevention, traffic enforcement, investigating complaints, and providing emergency assistance to the public. This work is performed in accordance with department regulations and policies. Prospective employee should be able to work with little supervision. This employee will frequently exercise initiative and independent judgment under emergency situations.
